Hark Pro is a personal AI agent from Hark Labs, and the short verdict on its plans is that the free tier is the right choice for almost everyone.

Every feature is included on every plan, so the paid tiers, Hark Pro² at $20 a month and Hark Pro³ at $100 a month, only buy you more usage.

That's the answer most people are looking for when they search for Hark Pro.

The rest of this page is a feature-by-feature reference, so you know exactly what you get, how each feature works and where the limits are.

I tested Hark Pro on its free plan on camera, and every plan detail below comes from Hark's own pricing page, guide and terms.

The Hark Pro Verdict In 30 Seconds

Hark Pro is one of the most polished personal agents I've tested, and it felt like the Apple of AI agents the moment I opened it.

The pricing is unusually generous, because nothing is locked behind a paywall.

My overall rating is 4 out of 5.

It loses a point because it doesn't speak back, it doesn't say which model runs the main assistant, and it can act on your money if you grant it permission too freely.

Plan Price Usage My verdict Score
Hark Pro Free It gives you the base allowance. It's the right starting point for everyone. 9/10
Hark Pro² $20 a month It gives you 2x more usage. It's worth it once you hit the limit in a normal week. 8/10
Hark Pro³ $100 a month It gives you 10x more usage. It only pays off if Hark runs a big part of your day. 6/10

What Is Hark Pro?

Hark Pro is the app Hark Labs describes as "the operating system for your life".

You chat with it like a messaging app, and it remembers your preferences over time.

It reads your connected email and apps, so it can suggest jobs before you ask.

It also has Handoff, its own cloud computer, which signs in to websites and completes tasks like purchases and forms.

Hark says Handoff is its own computer use model that it post-trained, and that each request gets a dedicated virtual computer with a browser, a file system and a terminal.

Hark Pro runs on the web at hark.com and in the Hark Pro apps on iOS and Android.

Who Makes Hark Pro?

Hark Pro is made by Hark Labs, Inc., which its terms list as based in San Jose, California.

The company was founded by Brett Adcock, who also founded Figure and Archer Aviation.

Hark announced a $700 million funding round in May 2026, and Hark Pro launched on 6 October 2026.

Hark's terms say you must be at least 18 to use it.

Hark Pro Plans Compared In Detail

Here's the full plan breakdown, using only what Hark publishes.

Detail Hark Pro Hark Pro² Hark Pro³
Price It's free. It's $20 a month. It's $100 a month.
Usage It has the base allowance. It has 2x more usage. It has 10x more usage.
Features It includes every feature. It includes every feature. It includes every feature.
Ads Hark says you never see ads. Hark says you never see ads. Hark says you never see ads.
Hark's own example It covers everyday life admin. Hark says it can get organic produce delivered 40 times. Hark says it can plan 50 weddings.

The key sentence on Hark's pricing page is that all features are offered in all plans and upgrading only increases usage.

That makes the comparison unusually simple.

You never upgrade for a feature, and you only upgrade for room.

How Top-Ups work

Hark's terms explain what happens when you run out.

Each plan includes a usage allowance, and if you go over it, Hark may offer paid Top-Ups.

Automatic Top-Ups only apply if you switch them on.

Hark's guide recommends setting a spending ceiling if you turn on auto top-up, so you don't lose service at a bad moment or overspend.

Unused Top-Ups aren't refundable unless your local law gives you that right.

My view is that occasional capped Top-Ups beat jumping to a bigger plan you'll only half use.

Every Hark Pro Feature, Rated

These ratings are mine, from hands-on testing on the free plan.

Remember that every feature below is identical on all three plans.

Feature What it does Score Why
Onboarding It asks you to connect email first, then shows your details. 9 It's the easiest agent onboarding I've had, and easier than Grok Bot.
Chat and memory It keeps one persistent thread and learns your preferences. 8 You can ask it to forget specific memories.
Handoff It signs in to sites and completes tasks on its own computer. 8 Connected apps work inside it without logging in again.
Restaurant booking It asked for party size and time, then started booking. 8 It understood my typo, but you must supervise it.
Integrations It connects Gmail, Slack, GitHub, LinkedIn, Notion, Amazon and PayPal. 8 Hark also lists Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and MCP.
Wallet It stores cards and passwords in the Secured by Hark vault. 7 It's useful, but I'd switch it on last.
Home It combines spaces, Panels and Action Buttons. 9 It's clean, and you can even pay bills from it.
Panels It builds mini apps from a sentence. 9 It's the standout feature in the app.
Action Buttons It turns notifications into one-tap actions. 8 Paying a bill or cancelling a subscription takes one tap.
Projects It keeps long-running work and files in dedicated threads. 8 It's ideal for events and work topics.
Proactive inbox It proposes action items from your email. 8 It turns reading into yes or no decisions.
Side prompts and "show" It offers "quiet this" and "close this notification", and "show" pulls items into chat. 7 They're small touches that add polish.
Attachments and voice It accepts files and voice input. 6 It doesn't speak back.
Scheduled tasks It manages recurring jobs you set up in chat. 8 Everything recurring lives in one place.
Specialties It memorises multi-step workflows you repeat. 8 It saves you re-explaining routine jobs.
Prep my day It builds your itinerary from calendar and inbox. 9 It's the feature I'd use every morning.
Trip planning It finds camping spots, writes a packing list, says when to leave and books flights. 8 It's a strong showcase for Handoff.
Model transparency It doesn't name the model behind the main assistant. 5 Builders will want to know what's underneath.

Here's what stood out in practice.

Onboarding and the restaurant test

Hark recommends connecting email first, so I connected Gmail.

It showed my details, such as location, and then asked, "Hi Julian. What's one thing on your plate this week I could take off?"

I asked it to book an Italian restaurant for Wednesday next week.

It asked how many people and what time, and it understood my typo'd reply of "6pm, two people".

Then it started booking one of my favourite restaurants on its own computer screen, and I stopped it before it completed.

I called it a very simple, easy-to-use version of something like OpenClaw straight out of the box.

Panels and Home

You create a Panel by saying "create a new panel" and describing what you want.

When I asked for a productivity Panel, Hark asked whether I meant meeting hours versus focus time, or to-do tasks, and offered to connect ClickUp or Asana.

The example Panels I saw tracked calendar events, Shopify packages arriving this week and new Apple Podcasts episodes.

Fitness, workout and calorie-tracking Panels are obvious next ideas.

Hark's guide adds that you can use "Reply" on a Panel to redesign it or explore its data.

Proactive inbox and Prep my day

The proactive inbox reads your email and proposes action items for a quick yes or no.

"Prep my day" checks your calendar and inbox and builds your itinerary.

The example I saw said, "Your inbox is clean. Do you want me to pull in the sales numbers before your team sales meeting at 4 p.m.?"

Which Hark Pro Plan Should You Pick?

Here's my plan picker, based on how you'll actually use it.

If this sounds like you Pick this plan Why
You're curious and want to test it. Hark Pro (free) You get every feature for nothing.
You use it a few times a week for bookings and email. Hark Pro (free) The base allowance should cover light use.
You hit the free limit in a normal week. Hark Pro² ($20) Double the room is the cheapest fix.
You only go over now and then. Free plus capped Top-Ups You pay only for the weeks you need more.
Hark runs your inbox, bills, bookings and travel every day. Hark Pro³ ($100) Ten times the usage stops you hitting the wall.

My honest call is that most people will never need Pro³.

Start free, watch your usage for a normal week, and let that decide.

The Safety And Privacy Verdict On Hark Pro

Because Hark Pro can act on your money, this section matters as much as the price.

Hark's terms say that when you ask it to buy, book or pay, you authorise it to act as your agent.

They say Hark will ask you to confirm before it spends your money unless you tell it otherwise.

They also let you give standing permission for a category of transactions, and every transaction in that category then counts as authorised by you.

Hark isn't the merchant of record, so refunds and chargebacks go through the merchant or your card issuer.

On privacy, Hark says it will never sell your data or share it with advertisers, and that you can always delete it.

Its privacy policy says it doesn't use your inputs, outputs, memory or connected account data to train AI models.

Cards and passwords sit in the Secured by Hark vault, which Hark says even its own team can't see inside.

I score safety 7 out of 10, because the promises are strong but standing permissions are easy to over-grant.

Hark Pro Limits, Verdict By Verdict

  • It doesn't speak back, which is a real gap for a voice-first agent.
  • It doesn't name the model behind the main assistant, which matters to builders.
  • It's built for personal life admin, not team work or client delivery.
  • Hark says it's designing its own hardware and training smarter models, but neither is available yet.

A viewer asked me whether, after Hermes, Muse, Dots, Grok, OpenBot and now Hark, the differences are big enough to set everything up again.

My verdict is that you shouldn't switch for novelty.

Switch only if Hark Pro does a real job better than what you use now.
