FlyHermes is a hosted version of Hermes Agent that you rent by the month, so the server, the model access and the chat connections are set up for you and you only message the agent.
It is operated by HF Data Studio LLC, its own site says it is not affiliated with Nous Research, and the main plan was listed at $49 a month, or $39 a month billed annually, on the FlyHermes site when I checked on 11 October 2026.
My short verdict is that it is a convenient product with a clear pitch and thinner documentation than I'd like on usage limits, regions and refunds.
This page is the reference version, so I'll explain every feature, score each one, lay out the pricing and the fine print, and compare it with Hermes Cloud, a self-managed VPS and Hermes on your own Mac.
I need to be upfront that these are on-paper scores from FlyHermes's own public pages as of 11 October 2026, because I have not run a long hands-on test of a paid FlyHermes workspace.
I do run Hermes Agent itself every day, so I know what the underlying agent can do.

What FlyHermes Is And Why It Exists
Hermes Agent is the free, open-source agent from Nous Research.
It is strong because it keeps memory, calls real tools and carries on working on a schedule.
It is also a terminal-first project, and a lot of people stall at the install, the model keys and the chat gateway.
FlyHermes exists to sell that finished setup as a subscription.
Its site says the plan includes the hosted server, model API access, tooling infrastructure, core channels and a monthly usage allowance.
The site's own comparison page is fair about the trade, because it says self-hosting remains the right path when full infrastructure control matters more than speed.
Who Makes FlyHermes
The footer names HF Data Studio LLC at 447 Broadway in New York as the operator.
The refund policy calls HF Data Studio LLC a Wyoming limited liability company and says the policy is governed by Wyoming law.
The footer says FlyHermes is an independent service and not affiliated with Nous Research.
Nous Research has its own hosted product, called Hermes Cloud, inside the Nous Portal.
The FlyHermes app page uses the phrase "Hermes Cloud" as a heading too, so check the web address if you're unsure which product you're looking at.

How I Scored FlyHermes
I score each feature out of 10 on three things.
The first is what the feature does according to the FlyHermes pages.
The second is how clearly the site documents it, including limits and prices.
The third is how it compares with running the same feature on Hermes yourself.
These are on-paper scores, and a hands-on test could move any of them.
Every FlyHermes Feature, Scored
| Feature | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Setup speed | 9 | The site promises web chat in about 60 seconds with no server or keys. |
| Chat channels | 8 | Five channels are listed on the home page, although one tier lists a single connected channel. |
| Included model access | 7 | Five model families are named, but no exact versions are listed. |
| Memory | 8 | Persistent memory is listed on every plan and matches how Hermes works. |
| Skills | 7 | The skills page describes six categories without a browsable public list. |
| Tools and integrations | 8 | Nine integration types are listed, including custom MCP tools. |
| Scheduled jobs | 7 | Scheduled jobs are listed on the home plan and from the Solopreneur tier on the app page. |
| Pricing clarity | 5 | Three pages show three different plan lists and the usage allowance has no number. |
| Refund terms | 6 | The refund policy is detailed, but the older terms page contradicts it. |
| Privacy and security documentation | 6 | Encryption is documented, but regions and server specs are not. |
| Team features | 6 | SSO, SAML and an SLA exist, but only through a sales call. |
Setup Speed: 9 Out Of 10
The home page describes three steps, which are picking a plan, connecting a channel and telling the agent what to do.
The docs expand that into creating your workspace at the hosted checkout, connecting Telegram, adding tools and keys, and saving durable memory.
The privacy policy says sign-in runs through Google OAuth and Stripe processes the payment.
There is no install script, no Docker and no model key in that flow, which is why this scores highest.
Chat Channels: 8 Out Of 10
The home page lists Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp, Discord and web chat.
The docs call Telegram the fastest first channel and say you can add your own bot token or invite the managed bot.
The docs also mention email, webhooks and the CLI as later additions.
I took two points off because the Starter tier on the app page lists one connected channel, so the full list depends on your plan.
Included Model Access: 7 Out Of 10
This is the feature that separates FlyHermes from most hosts.
The site says your plan includes model API access for supported providers, so you don't need separate OpenAI or Anthropic accounts.
It names Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek and Llama.
It doesn't name versions, and the difference between a flagship model and a small one is large.
The home page says the allowance is monthly, and the app page measures tiers in tasks per day and heavy tasks per day.
Neither page defines what counts as a heavy task, so I can't tell you how far a plan stretches.

Memory And Skills: 8 And 7
The docs describe memory as durable user preferences, environment notes and stable project conventions.
They say memory is not for disposable task logs, which is the correct way to use Hermes memory.
Skills are described as reusable playbooks with exact commands, pitfalls and verification steps.
The skills page lists six categories, which are software development, growth marketing, research, productivity, ML operations, and creative and media.
I scored skills a point lower because the page describes categories and doesn't show a list of the actual skills you get.
Tools And Integrations: 8 Out Of 10
The integrations page lists Telegram, Discord, Gmail, GitHub, Google Workspace, browser automation, files and terminal, custom MCP tools and scheduled jobs.
The docs add Stripe, Vercel and custom APIs as things you can connect.
The advice on that page is good, because it says to start with a channel, add a tool only when a workflow needs it, and automate last.
Custom MCP tools matter, because they let you attach internal systems that no host supports out of the box.
Scheduled Jobs: 7 Out Of 10
Scheduled jobs are what turn a chatbot into an agent that works while you sleep.
The home page lists them in the FlyHermes Pro plan, and its example is a daily briefing at 7am.
The app page lists scheduled jobs from the Solopreneur tier and not on Starter.
That mismatch is why I'd confirm this feature at checkout if schedules are your main reason to buy.
FlyHermes Pricing: 5 Out Of 10 For Clarity
The prices themselves are easy to read, but the plan list changes from page to page.
| Page | Plans shown on 11 October 2026 |
|---|---|
| Home page | FlyHermes Pro at $49 a month, or $39 a month billed annually at $468 a year, labelled a launch offer |
| App page at cloud.flyhermes.ai | Starter at $49, Solopreneur at $99 and Operator at $199 a month, with annual billing saving about 20% |
| Operator page | Operator at $199 a month or $159 a month annually, Solopreneur at $99 or $79, a $49 or $39 entry plan, and a $79 or $63 plan labelled Mono Pro |
The app page gives the only hard limits I could find.
| Tier | Tasks a day | Heavy tasks a day | Channels | Agent identities | Extras listed |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 50 | 5 | 1 | 1 | All AI models and persistent memory |
| Solopreneur | 200 | 30 | All | 3 | Scheduled jobs |
| Operator | 1,000 | Not listed | All, plus integrations | 10 | Searchable archive, custom integrations and 3 team seats |
Enterprise is listed with unlimited tasks, SSO and SAML, a dedicated success manager, SLA-backed uptime and a white-label option.
The fair conclusion is that entry pricing is $49 a month, and everything else should be confirmed on the checkout page.

Refund Terms: 6 Out Of 10
The refund policy was last updated on 7 June 2026, and it is specific.
- First-time subscribers can request a refund within 14 days of their first purchase.
- A monthly refund is the first month's payment minus AI credits used.
- An annual refund is the first month minus AI credits used, plus the prorated value of the unused months.
- The guarantee applies once per person, business, billing address and payment method.
- Refund requests go to the support email from your account address with the subject line "Refund Request".
- The policy aims for an acknowledgement within one business day and a decision within five to seven business days.
The terms on the app domain were last updated on 6 March 2026 and say all payments are final and non-refundable.
The refund policy is newer, so I expect it to be the one that applies, but I can't confirm that for you.
Privacy And Security: 6 Out Of 10
The privacy policy says provided API keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
It says data in transit uses TLS and server access uses SSH host key verification.
It says card numbers aren't stored, and that personal data isn't sold to third parties.
It lists Supabase, Stripe, Google and Vercel as third-party services.
It says instance data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion or cancellation, and billing records may be kept for up to seven years.
It gives people in the European Economic Area the right to access, correct, delete or port their data.
The score is held back by what's missing.
The pages don't name a data centre region, a storage size or the server specs behind a workspace.
The privacy policy also says AI providers are used through your own API keys only, which doesn't match the included model access on the home page.
That policy is dated 6 March 2026, so I read it as an older page.
The docs give sound advice, which is to store keys in the workspace environment and never paste tokens into public threads.
FlyHermes Limits
- The size of the monthly usage allowance isn't published on the home page.
- The terms don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and the SLA is only for team and enterprise plans.
- The terms make you solely responsible for backups.
- The terms say your instance is decommissioned and its data permanently deleted once a cancellation takes effect.
- The terms cap total liability at what you paid in the previous three months.
- The exact model versions aren't listed, so you can't pin a specific model from the public pages.
- The service is a hosted product, so local models on your own hardware aren't part of it.

FlyHermes vs Hermes Cloud vs A VPS vs Your Own Mac
I checked the Hermes Cloud figures on the Nous Portal on 11 October 2026.
| FlyHermes | Hermes Cloud | Self-managed VPS | Your own Mac | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Who runs it | HF Data Studio LLC | Nous Research | You | You |
| Official Hermes product | No | Yes | You install the official software | You install the official software |
| Price seen | $49 a month, or $39 annually | $0.51 a day Standard, $0.99 a day Pro, $0.03 a day stopped | A monthly server bill | No hosting bill |
| Model usage | Included inside an allowance | Billed on top | Billed by your provider | Free with local models |
| Published specs | Not published | 2GB and 2 vCPU, or 4GB and 4 vCPU | Whatever you rent | Whatever you own |
| Setup effort | Lowest | Very low | Highest | Medium |
| Model choice | Supported families only | Your choice | Your choice | Your choice, including local |
Hermes Cloud needs a $2 minimum credit balance or an active Nous subscription, and 30 days of Standard running non-stop is about $15.30 before model usage.
The server line is cheaper on Hermes Cloud, and the total depends on how much model usage you add.
A VPS gives you full control, and my best Hermes Agent VPS post scores seven hosts side by side.
Your own Mac is the cheapest route, and my best Hermes Agent setup ranking compares the full stacks.
If you're still deciding whether Hermes is the right agent at all, my best Hermes Agent alternative post covers the other options.
I wrote my first take on this service in June in my best Hermes VPS post on the AI Profit Boardroom blog.
How To Sign Up And Deploy FlyHermes
- You open the pricing section on the FlyHermes home page and choose monthly or annual billing.
- You click the deploy button and sign in.
- You pay at the hosted checkout and confirm your workspace.
- You send your first message in web chat.
- You connect Telegram with your bot token or the managed bot.
- You connect the first tool your workflow needs.
- You save your preferences and rules to memory.
- You run one job by hand, then put it on a schedule.
I'd choose monthly billing first, because it keeps the amount at risk small while you test.
My Verdict On FlyHermes
My overall on-paper score is 7 out of 10.
FlyHermes earns that for doing one thing clearly, which is removing the setup between you and a Hermes agent.
Included model access is a real convenience, and the channel list covers where most people work.
It loses points for a usage allowance with no number, a plan list that changes between pages, no published regions and two refund statements that disagree.
I'd recommend it to a non-technical owner who wants an agent on Telegram today and will start on monthly billing.
I'd point a technical user to a VPS or a Mac, and I'd point someone who wants the official host to Hermes Cloud.
