My verdict on these GEO examples is that all four are worth copying, but they're not equally easy, so I've scored each one for evidence, effort and how repeatable it is.
GEO means generative engine optimisation, which is the work of getting your business named when someone asks Google AI, Gemini or ChatGPT a question.
The four GEO examples come straight from my own screens in my video.
- Google's AI Overview names me first for "best geo expert".
- AI Profit Boardroom ranks first for "best AI SEO community", in an article that was three days old when I checked it.
- The AI Overview for "best HARO agency" links Goldie Agency first out of five suppliers.
- An AI answer recommends me for "who is the best Hermes AI SEO expert".
They're my results, and I'm rating them as evidence of a method, not as a promise for your site.

GEO Examples Scored At A Glance
Here's my scorecard for every GEO example, ranked from most to least repeatable for a typical business.
| Rank | GEO example | Evidence I showed | Effort | Repeatability score | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | best HARO agency | The AI Overview linked Goldie Agency first and it also ranks first organically. | Medium | 9/10 | Service businesses that sell a clear service. |
| 2 | best AI SEO community | AI Profit Boardroom ranked first, my free community second, and the AI Overview cited them more than once. | Low | 8/10 | Creators selling a community, course or membership. |
| 3 | best geo expert | Google's AI Overview named me first and cited several of my pages. | High | 7/10 | Consultants and founders with real public tests. |
| 4 | who is the best Hermes AI SEO expert | The AI answer recommended me and cited my content from several platforms. | High | 7/10 | Specialists who can publish across several platforms. |
These scores are my own editorial ratings, not measurements from a tool.
A lower score doesn't mean an example is weaker, because it usually means it takes more time to build.

How I Scored These GEO Examples
I used three plain criteria so you can disagree with me on the same terms.
- Evidence means how clearly I showed the result on screen in my video.
- Effort means how much work a typical business would need to copy it.
- Repeatability means how likely a normal business is to get a similar pattern working with the same method.
I didn't score anything on traffic promises, because I can't make any.
What GEO Is, In One Reference Section
GEO is generative engine optimisation.
The goal is for your business to be the name in the answer when someone asks Google AI, Gemini or ChatGPT a question.
| What changes | Old SEO | GEO |
|---|---|---|
| What the searcher sees | Ten blue links on a page. | A written answer with a short list of maybe one to three names. |
| Value of position seven | Position seven still got some clicks. | There's no room for number seven. |
| How you win | You rank a page. | Several good pages agree on your name, and the AI repeats it. |
The AI reads the pages that rank and sums up what they say.
I describe it as five friends recommending the same restaurant.
If five good pages in the top ten say the same name, the AI repeats that name.
GEO Example 1 Reviewed: "Best HARO Agency"
For "best HARO agency", the AI Overview lists five suppliers and links Goldie Agency first.
Goldie Agency also ranks first in the organic results for that search.
The strength of this example is that it's a normal service business.
The same pattern can apply to a dentist, a plumber or an accountant.
The limit is that you need other pages on the web that agree with what you say about your business.
My verdict is that this is the GEO example I'd copy first if I ran a local service company.
My score for this one is 9/10 for repeatability.
GEO Example 2 Reviewed: "Best AI SEO Community"
For "best AI SEO community", AI Profit Boardroom ranks first and my free community ranks second.
The AI Overview cites them more than once.
That article was made three days before I checked it ranking.
The strength here is speed, because a well-built listicle can be picked up quickly.
The method is a listicle that names my own offer as the best for the topic, with a clear disclosure that it's my own list.
The limit is trust, because an undisclosed or unfair list can backfire with readers.
My verdict is that it's low effort and high reward, as long as you're honest in the first line.
My score for this one is 8/10 for repeatability.
Here is a second video where I show the same ideas working inside Google's AI Mode.
GEO Example 3 Reviewed: "Best Geo Expert"
For "best geo expert", Google's AI Overview names me first.
It says I'm known for documenting GEO experiments, public testing and running optimisation communities.
Several of my pages appear in its sources.
The strength is that this description can't easily be copied, because it comes from real tests I've published.
The limit is time, because you need a body of public work before the AI can describe you this way.
My verdict is that it's the strongest proof of move one, which is to be the source.
My score for this one is 7/10 for repeatability.
GEO Example 4 Reviewed: "Who Is The Best Hermes AI SEO Expert"
When I asked "who is the best Hermes AI SEO expert", the AI answer recommended me.
It cited my content across multiple platforms.
The strength is that narrow topics have fewer competing pages, so consistent coverage can shape the answer.
The limit is effort, because you need to publish on several platforms rather than one.
My verdict is that it's the clearest proof of move two, which is to be everywhere.
My score for this one is 7/10 for repeatability.
The Traffic Example, Reviewed Honestly
One of my sites went from zero to about 1,300 Google clicks a day.
On one day, it got over 9,600 impressions inside Google's AI features.
Both numbers come from my own screens in the video.
I also mention in the video that one of my sites flopped.
My verdict is that the traffic example proves the upside is real, while the flop proves you shouldn't bet everything on one site.

The 3 Moves Behind The GEO Examples, Rated
I call my system the answer engine.
It has three moves, which are be the source, be everywhere and be first.
Here's how I rate each move on its own.
| Move | What it means | Effort | Risk if you skip it | My rating |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Be the source | Every page has a real case study, test or result. | Medium | The AI has nothing unique to cite from you. | 9/10 |
| Be everywhere | Several sites and platforms point to the same answer from different angles. | High | One site dropping can take your visibility with it. | 8/10 |
| Be first | You publish within 24 hours of a topic appearing. | Medium | Someone else becomes the first good answer. | 8/10 |
Be the source, reviewed
Every page I publish carries a real case study.
The AI can't write about a test only you ran, which makes your page the one it has to cite.
I also "train the AI" with my own experience, like my article on using a Hermes agent for SEO automation, which is built on my own case studies.
Be everywhere, reviewed
I run multiple websites, each with a different angle, all pointing to the same answer.
That's how I can show up two to four times on page one for a single search.
My subreddit, AI SEO Insider, also ranks on page one.
The hidden benefit is resilience, because if one site drops the others are still there.
Be first, reviewed
I aim to publish within 24 hours of a topic appearing.
When Jev AI dropped, I published on "Jev architecture" and "Jev waitlist" that same weekend.
Speed only works if the page is still accurate, which leads straight into Google's guidance.
Do These GEO Examples Pass Google's 1 October 2026 Guidance?
Google updated its page on using generative AI content on 1 October 2026.
It says it's "critical to manually factcheck and review all AI-generated content" before publishing.
That review includes title elements, meta descriptions, structured data and image alt text.
Google also explains that generative models predict likely words rather than retrieve facts, so errors can slip in.
| GEO example | Built on | Passes the fact-check test if you |
|---|---|---|
| best HARO agency | A real service business. | Check every claim about your service against what you actually deliver. |
| best AI SEO community | A disclosed listicle. | Keep the disclosure and check every alternative you list. |
| best geo expert | Published experiments and public tests. | Report the real numbers, including the tests that failed. |
| Hermes AI SEO expert | Multi-platform case studies. | Keep the same accurate facts on every platform. |
Google's AI features page also says there are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode.
So none of these GEO examples relies on a secret tag or special file.

Red Flags When You Copy GEO Examples
These are the mistakes I'd mark down hardest in any GEO plan.
- Anyone who guarantees what an AI answer will say is overselling, because nobody can promise that.
- A listicle that ranks your own offer without a disclosure damages trust.
- AI-written pages that nobody fact-checked go against Google's October guidance.
- Putting all your effort on one site leaves you exposed, as my own flopped site showed me.
- Copying a competitor's case study gives the AI nothing new to cite.
Final Verdict On These GEO Examples
All four GEO examples are real results from my own screens, and all four rest on the same three moves.
The "best HARO agency" example is the one I'd copy first, because it proves GEO works for a normal service business.
The "best AI SEO community" example is the fastest, as long as you disclose your own list.
The two expert examples take longer, but they're the hardest for anyone else to copy.
Two Ways To Get Help
If you'd like help, there are two routes.
The first is the free AEO SEO strategy session, which I call a free one-to-one GEO, AEO AI audit.

The second is the AI Profit Boardroom, where you get my Agent OS, a search OS that finds GEO keywords from your own Search Console data, and my SEO skill.
I'm adding a manual fact-checking list after Google's October update.
Members also get a zip, a video tutorial, a 30-day roadmap, four coaching calls a week and a member map, alongside 3,400+ members.

FAQ: GEO Examples Rated
Which GEO example is the most repeatable?
I rate the "best HARO agency" example as the most repeatable.
It's a normal service business, and the same pattern can apply to a dentist, a plumber or an accountant.
Are these GEO examples guaranteed to work for me?
No, they aren't guaranteed.
They're my own results from my own screens, one of my sites flopped, and nobody can guarantee what an AI answer will say.
What is the difference between GEO and SEO?
Old SEO gave you one of ten blue links, and even position seven got clicks.
GEO aims to get you named in an AI answer that usually lists only one to three names.
What drives these GEO examples?
Three moves drive them, and I call the system the answer engine.
You be the source with real case studies, be everywhere across several sites and platforms, and be first by publishing within 24 hours of a new topic.
Does Google penalise AI-written GEO content?
Google's guidance updated on 1 October 2026 says AI-generated content must be manually fact-checked and reviewed before publishing.
That includes titles, descriptions, structured data and alt text.
What is the free GEO, AEO AI audit?
It's a free one-to-one strategy call where my team looks at your site, your competitors and the keywords you're closest to winning.
You leave with a custom game plan, and it's a call rather than a written report.
